I wrote, directed, and edited A Taste of the East for my Digital Media Production capstone at Tulane, the film was then selected for and featured in the Tulane Student Film Festival.

For over 40 years, the James Beard Award–winning Dong Phuong Restaurant and Bakery has brought traditional Vietnamese flavors to New Orleans East—a neighborhood shaped by a deeply rooted Vietnamese American community. This film traces the journey of a family of immigrants whose culinary traditions laid the foundation for a beloved local institution, now led by the next generation: cousins Linh Garza and Kevin Tran.
